Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use this website and our quote-request service.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

About these terms

These terms of use apply to your use of the Visa Health Insurance Spain website at www.visahealthinsurancespain.com and to any enquiry or quote-request you make through it. By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the website.

What we do

We provide general, English-language information about private health insurance for Spanish visa, residency and renewal applications, and a service that helps you request and compare suitable insurance options. We are an information and quote-request service. We are not an insurer, a law firm or an immigration consultancy, and nothing on this website is legal or immigration advice. Any insurance contract you take out is between you and the relevant insurer, not with us.

No legal or immigration advice

The content on this website is for general information and insurance guidance only. Visa and residency requirements can vary by visa type, consulate, nationality, age, family situation and the date of your application, and they can change. You should always check the latest official requirements for your specific appointment, and for legal or immigration advice you should speak to a qualified professional.

No guarantee of visa approval

We help you review and request private health insurance that is designed with Spanish visa documentation in mind. We cannot and do not guarantee that any policy, certificate or application will be accepted. Final decisions on visa and residency applications are made by the relevant consulate, immigration office or authority.

Quotes and information

Any quote arranged through an insurer or partner is indicative until confirmed by that insurer, and is subject to the insurer's underwriting, acceptance, and any waiting periods, exclusions or loadings it may apply. We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, up to date or error-free, and you should not rely on it as your only source of information.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for checking that any policy you arrange meets the requirements of your specific visa or residency route before you rely on it. You agree not to submit false or misleading information, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems, and not to use automated tools to scrape or harvest content.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us in the first instance at info@visahealthinsurancespain.com and we will do our best to help. Complaints about a policy or an insurer are handled through that insurer's own customer-service and complaints channels, as set out in your policy documentation. Data-protection complaints can be raised with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, guides, layout, design, graphics, logos and code — is owned by Visa Health Insurance Spain or used under licence, and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and print individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You must not copy, republish, redistribute, frame or mirror the website or its content, scrape or extract it using automated tools, or use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems, without our prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the website on an "as is" basis and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or from any insurance arranged following an enquiry, including any refusal, delay or additional requirement in a visa or residency application. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

External links

This website may link to third-party websites, including government and consulate pages. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and following external links is at your own risk.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any matter arising from your use of the website are governed by Spanish law. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you, the courts of Spain have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above; continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
