Visa Health Insurance Spain provides general information and helps visitors request and compare private health insurance that is suitable for Spanish visa and residency purposes. We are not an insurer, a law firm or an immigration consultancy. We do not issue insurance policies ourselves. Where you ask us to, we pass your enquiry to insurers, brokers or partners authorised to arrange or provide private health insurance in Spain, who prepare quotes and issue any policy.
The purpose of the Website is to help English-speaking applicants understand what visa-suitable private health insurance usually involves and to request suitable cover and documentation. The Website is not itself a contract of insurance. Any contract of insurance is formed between you and the relevant insurer, on that insurer's terms, once your application is accepted and the premium is arranged.
Any policy arranged following an enquiry is issued by an insurer authorised to operate in Spain. The specific insurer and the binding terms are those set out in the quotation and contractual documentation you receive at the point of contracting, which you should read before deciding whether the cover meets your needs.
